Save to Pins A festive and eye-catching edible bowl made entirely from peppermint candies—perfect for gifting, holiday displays, or serving sweet treats. No baking required!
I love making this peppermint candy bowl during the holidays because it adds a fun and tasty element to my decor.
Ingredients
- Candy: 30–35 round peppermint hard candies (unwrapped)
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Step 2:
- Arrange the peppermint candies in a tightly packed circle (about 6/15cm diameter) on the prepared tray. Place one candy in the center and surround it with more candies, pressing the edges together so there are no gaps.
- Step 3:
- Bake for 7–10 minutes. Watch closely: as soon as the candies have melted together and formed a single sheet, remove from the oven.
- Step 4:
- Let the melted candy cool for about 30–45 seconds (it should still be pliable but not too hot to touch).
- Step 5:
- Quickly, using oven mitts, invert the parchment with the candy sheet over an upside-down heat-proof bowl (the bowl will shape the candy). Gently press the candy around the bowl so it drapes and takes on the bowl shape.
- Step 6:
- Allow the candy bowl to cool and harden completely (about 30 minutes). Carefully lift off the mold. Your peppermint bowl is ready to use or gift!
